What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at Donatech Corporation?
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required.
Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. Role will incorporate use of drawings and written inspection instructions. Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.
Basic qualifications include the following:
- Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time (up to 10Hrs)
- Must be able to sit at work station for long periods of time
- Must have prior experience visually inspecting solder connections, both SMT and Thru hole applications in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
- Minimum 2 year of visual solder Inspection experience.
- Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience
- Must have good attention to detail, and be Quality and process oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Personal Computers.
-Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when addressing quality defects.
