About the Opportunity

The Junior Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the organization's revenue cycle by ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with collections efforts. Responsibilities
- Process and review customer invoices to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate billing or payment discrepancies.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account activity.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
- Review account information for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
- Research and resolve customer account concerns using available resources.
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, payments, and customer communications.
- Assist with month-end accounting activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
- Prepare and distribute account statements and supporting documentation.
- Support various accounting and administrative projects as assigned.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements within the accounting department.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
