Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Day Program
Locations: Vernon, Tolland, and Norwich, CT
Pay: $20.06 per hour
We’re hiring Direct Support Professionals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a day program. Most participants are physically independent; some may need behavioral support.
Available schedules: Monday thru Friday, First shift
What you’ll do
- Support participants with daily activities and program participation
- Encourage independence and positive social interaction
- Respond to behavioral support needs and follow individual support plans
- Assist with the transportation team if working specific schedules
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of education
- CPR and PMT certifications before starting
- One year of caregiving experience preferred
If you don’t already have CPR and PMT certifications, training will be provided before you start. The training is unpaid.
