Project Manager

Our client, a growing construction company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and overall project execution to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting schedule, budget, or quality.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractor performance, contract compliance, and project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Track project costs and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Project Management experience within the construction industry.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, or multifamily construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Managing projects valued at $5M .
• Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• OSHA certification or strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
