Operations Intern

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to support our business with receiving processes and a variety of administrative duties. This role offers the opportunity to assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy in documentation, coordination of materials, and overall workflow efficiency.This internship provides hands-on experience by contributing to operations and driving customer satisfaction through streamlined processes, proactive communication, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving and logistics coordination by verifying incoming shipments, reconciling discrepancies, scheduling deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation for purchase orders, bills of lading (BOLs), and proof of delivery (PODs)
• Oversee inventory and order processing by tracking materials, coordinating transfers between locations, supporting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate system updates for inventory, work orders, and outside processing activities
• Maintain administrative and operational records by scanning and uploading documents, generating reports (e.g., backorders, BOL edits), handling data entry, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting processes
• Support cross-functional operations by communicating with carriers, vendors, and internal teams, assisting with customer documentation requests, answering incoming calls, and providing backup support across departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Major in Business Administration or related field.
• Excellent technical skills, including a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
