Located at 909 West Linden Ave. Rochester, NY, Premier Metals procures scrap metals of ferrous and non-ferrous varieties. As a subsidiary of Niagara Metals and Triple M (U.S.) Inc., Premier Metals if part of a growing enterprise which operates 30+ facilities across North America, including Canada, the United States and Mexico with additional interests in Europe. What We Offer: Paid Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, etc. Life Insurance, LTD, AD&D Paid Time Off Annual Boot Allowance Training and opportunities for growth and advancement Key Responsibilities: Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.); Load scrap metal as assigned; Sort, stack, process materials as directed; Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed; Complete pre-operational equipment check and other documentation as assigned; Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required; Maintain a safe and orderly working environment; Other general duties as assigned by Manager. What We Expect: Must exhibit Premier Metal's Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Team and Pride; Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck; Heavy Equipment Operators Certification preferred; Must have a valid Driver’s License; Strong communication both written and verbal; Ability to work in outdoor environments as needed.
