We are seeking a Structures Engineer to support the design, development, and analysis of advanced air vehicle structures. This role involves full lifecycle ownership of structural components—from conceptual design through detailed analysis and prototype manufacturing—supporting high-performance, resilient systems for next-generation aerospace platforms.
- Design and develop primary and secondary airframe structures (metallic and composite) from concept through production
- Create detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using Siemens NX
- Perform static and dynamic structural analysis, including strength, buckling, fatigue, and damage tolerance assessments
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) using tools such as FEMAP and Global FEM methodologies
- Develop and maintain NX skeleton models to support scalable and robust design architecture
- Apply GD&T principles and ensure adherence to best practices in engineering drawings
- Execute trade studies to optimize designs for weight, performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule
- Incorporate design for manufacturing (DFM) principles to enable efficient production at scale
- Support composite structure design, including laminate definition and ply development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, aerodynamics, manufacturing, and integration teams
- Provide hands-on engineering support during manufacturing and system integration phases
- Perform statistical analysis to validate and improve design performance
