We are seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead system-level power architecture, integration, and analysis efforts for advanced air vehicle platforms. This role requires an engineer who thinks at the aircraft level, with expertise in power distribution, load analysis, subsystem integration, and power system reliability across complex aerospace systems.
- Develop and analyze aircraft-level power architectures, power distribution networks, and electrical load analyses (ELA).
- Perform power budgeting, fault analysis, fault current analysis, FMEA, and circuit protection coordination.
- Define and validate power management strategies, including load sequencing, automated load shedding, and power control logic.
- Lead integration of subsystems, payloads, and equipment by defining power interface requirements and architectures.
- Assess power system performance during critical operating modes and mission phases.
- Conduct trade studies and evaluate COTS, modified, and custom power system solutions to meet performance, SWaP, and cost objectives.
- Collaborate across Systems, Avionics, Software, Mechanical, and GNC teams to identify integration risks and drive system-level solutions.
- Support EMI/EMC compliance activities, test planning, and validation efforts.
