What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Triple Crown Corporation Inc?
About the position...
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be safely and efficiently operating company equipment for residential and commercial projects in support and assistance to the construction division to ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner.
- Report to the Equipment Division Superintendent for daily work assignments.
- Responsible for running Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes.
- Responsible for inventory control, including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, and machinery both on site and in storage.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining site storage trailers, equipment, and storage yards.
- Assist with daily excavation tasks including, trenching, backfilling/tamping, and minor grading while adhering to TCC phase specifications and safety policies.
- Operate company owned vehicles, material handlers, scissor lifts, rental equipment, including towing trailers and compressors, tampers, jack hammers, demolition saws, pumps, and pressure washers as required.
- Assist in performing manual laborer when required.
What we are looking for from you...
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must have experience operating equipment including proper training and certifications
- Be able to complete construction work, including but not limited to digging, lifting, climbing ladders, and entering trench excavations.
- Must understand layout work.
- Must have experience with installing pipe, water lines, sewer lines, and dry utilities and be capable of supervising and testing such work.
