Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Analysis Engineer to support preparations for an upcoming Critical Design Review (CDR). This role will perform detailed electrical analyses and testing to verify circuit performance, component reliability, and compliance with program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) on complex electronic designs.
- Conduct electrical parts stress analysis to evaluate component performance and reliability.
- Support radiation testing and analyze test results.
- Verify circuit performance across voltage, temperature, tolerance, aging, and radiation conditions.
- Identify design risks and recommend corrective actions or component changes.
- Review schematics, component specifications, test data, and engineering requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, analysis documentation, and presentation materials for the Critical Design Review.
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, reliability, and program engineering teams.
- Ensure analyses meet applicable program, customer, and documentation requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations during technical and design reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least nine years of hands-on experience performing electrical engineering analyses.
- Demonstrated experience with worst-case circuit analysis.
- Hands-on experience supporting or conducting radiation testing.
- Demonstrated experience performing electrical parts stress analysis.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit behavior and component reliability.
- Ability to interpret schematics, component datasheets, and technical requirements.
- Experience preparing documentation for formal engineering or critical design reviews.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
