About the position...
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for successfully leading residential and commercial projects related to the company's construction division. We are searching for team members within the Greater Harrisburg, Greater Reading, and Southern-Central PA area to support our ongoing and future projects.
- Oversees the entire construction site and all phases of the project from start to finish.
- Assigns tasks to company field staff on site, including but not limited to Laborers, Carpenters, and Foreman.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with ownership changes, architectural plans, engineering specifications, and building codes.
- Responsible for managing material usage, equipment, and labor costs.
- Facilitates site meetings and progress updates to ownership, Project Managers, and the General Superintendent.
- Ensures all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and documented.
- Inspects work at all stages to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Acts as a quality assurance agent and participates in the company's Quality Partner Program.
- Assists with renovations, fit-out work, and misc. labor tasks in support of Property Management related projects.
- Responsible for inventory control, organization, and maintaining cleanliness of storage trailers, hand/power tools, and equipment.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment at all TCC sites.
- If skilled - accounts for job costing related to projects.
- If skilled - coordinates with Inspectors, Architects, Engineers for approvals and walkthroughs.
- If skilled - Prepares reports at the close of projects on progress, issues, and resolutions to assigned jobs.
