About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Chambersburg/Shippensburg, PA. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Project Manager and take ownership of multiple projects from bid through close-out. Your leadership ensures our high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are upheld every step of the way.
This is a hands-on position with a mix of field and office work. You’ll collaborate with owners’ representatives, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects on track, on budget, and built to last.
This position is expected to run 12–18 months based on project needs, with the possibility of extension or transition into a permanent role within the company.
What You’ll Do
- Manage several construction projects at different phases simultaneously
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
- Maintain accurate daily logs and photo documentation
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor payments
- Lead weekly safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety standards
- Track and communicate project changes, ensuring complete as-built records
- Partner with the Project Manager on progress, risks, and project status
- Deliver thorough punch-lists and close-out documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 10 years of construction experience (8 in management preferred)
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail and professionalism in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for documentation, scheduling, and communication
Preferences:
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred, not required)
- ASCE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience as a government or military construction representative (encouraged)
- Residence in a designated HUBZone area (preferred, not required)
- Ability to reliably commute to Chambersburg, PA (within ~45 minutes preferred)

Schedule & Work Environment
- Minimum 40 hours/week, often 55–60 depending on project demands
