What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Content Specialist (Photo/Video) position at Triple Aught Design?
Triple Aught Design is an apparel and equipment manufacturer headquartered in San Francisco. On their toughest missions and in their everyday adventures, our highly-engaged and dedicated community depend on our gear to help them prevail. We're seeking to expand our creative services team with a full-time Content Producer.
We are the Architects of Adventure creating Capable Gear for Capable People. We value creativity, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, and we're looking for individuals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible, are eager to be a partner in the process, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We're looking for an adventurous Photo/Video Content Producer who will strive to elevate our brand experience on a daily basis and push the envelope of creative execution. As a Content Producer at Triple Aught Design, you will be responsible for leading, producing, and creating content (photos/videos) that promote our products, tell our story, and enhance our brand. You should have experience in marketing, digital media, social media, and be a skilled storyteller with a passion for adventure, the outdoors, and creating and sharing stories through imagery. Our marketing team is responsible for the complete presentation of our brand. This is an exciting and impactful role that will be integral to our growth and continued success.
This role primarily involves ideating and creating digital content for all channels of distribution including website, social media, affiliate marketing and public relations. Responsibilities include planning, shooting/filming, and editing both photo and video content in studio settings and real-life scenarios. A keen eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detail bordering on obsessiveness is essential. Tasks will involve managing digital assets, crafting short-form videos for social media, and executing video projects and field shoots. This is a hybrid role requiring remote work with frequent in-person, in-field content shoots in the Denver metro area.
Position is available for immediate hire. This is a full-time role located in Denver, Colorado. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Denver metropolitan area.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Produce and edit engaging brand content photography as well as short-form videos
- Offer post-production support in editing, graphics, and audio for a variety of multimedia projects
- Operate as primary camera on field shoots
- Aid in conceptualizing, designing, and promoting online campaigns
- Efficiently manage all photo and video content as marketing assets
- Provide comprehensive support in shooting, lighting, and audio on diverse projects
- Engage with internal teams to fully understand project requirements
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for video and marketing strategies
- Ensure content quality with excellent framing, composition, and editing
- Adhere to brand guidelines and production standards
- Assist in live streaming projects and set development
- Stay current in social media and digital marketing trends; continuing to educate wider teams on innovations and maintain social leadership within the industry
- Create, implement, and manage social calendar to manage content distribution
- Actively help plan and participate in brand marketing and interactive trips
Ideally you will have:
- 5 years experience leading photography/videography production
- Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong post-production skills in industry standard video production software
- Availability for travel, non-standard hours, and physically demanding tasks in austere outdoor locations
- Strong communication skills and meticulous organization
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable operating effectively in remote outdoor settings and willing to embark on big, seemingly impossible adventures
- Must be a highly self-directed, proactive creator who thrives in ambiguity and takes full ownership of projects end-to-end—identifying opportunities, planning execution, and driving work forward without waiting for instruction.
This role is not task-based or reactive. It requires someone who naturally identifies what needs to be done before being asked - concepting shoots, sourcing talent, scouting locations, building relationships, and executing content that moves the brand forward. Success here depends on initiative, curiosity, and follow-through more than process or constant direction.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work at a computer and view a screen for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry production equipment and work in outdoor environments that may include uneven terrain, altitude, and variable weather conditions.
- Must be able to hike, walk, and work on uneven surfaces, including backcountry environments, at altitude, and in variable weather conditions.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach as required to capture photo and video content.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally using various forms of transportation.
- Must be able to safely participate in and document the activities for which TAD designs and produces products.
