Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Supervisor Food Services Schedule: Mixed /Varied - Rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekend Location: Langhorne, PA Department: Dietary Reports to: Director Food / Nutritional Services Position Purpose: St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a full time Supervisor Food Services to join our Dietary Team! What You Will Do: Oversees operations in cafeteria and patient areas in conjunction with the manager Completes cash reports and deposits as required. Completes performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and incident/accident reports as needed. Assures all food temperature logs for all refrigerators, freezers and dish machines are completed. Assures sanitation/cleaning assignments are completed accurately prior to closing. Interviews, recommends for hire, orient and train Student Dietary Aides. Completes all MOS data entries and transmission in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains on-going knowledge of computer software required for position. Assures department is closed properly. Accurately creates and maintains all monthly operating report files. Accurately bills and processes all outside catering functions. Monitors food-handling practices of staff for compliance to established regulations. Assigns evening employees to job tasks that ensure required duties are completed accurately and efficiently. Ensures safe operation of equipment by employees. Demonstrates team building and leadership skills. Ensures security of department equipment and food. Handles complaints and special request with a customer satisfaction focus. Prepares all late diet order changes and new admission transactions accurately and efficiently. Reports all malfunctioning equipment in a timely manner. Supervises retail operation in absence of cafeteria manager. Assures meal service to begin and end at proper times. Assures employees adhere to proper dress code. Assures catering events are delivered and cleaned up in a proper time frame Performs other duties as assigned.
