Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: As a Speech Language Pathologist at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient populations in compliance with policies and procedures established by the medical center and/or rehabilitation services department. This includes delivering quality care to individuals and families, as well as participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance programs. This is a part-time position, averaging 24 hours per week. The anticipated schedule for this position is Friday-Sunday. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders OR extensive dysphagia management experience within an internship/externship program. Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation is preferred. License/Certification: Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or a provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS.
