- Assist the Director of Athletics with daily athletic department functions, budget, and fiscal operations
- Oversee all middle school athletic program daily operations
- Supervise and mentor all middle school full- and part-time coaches
- Schedule middle school game days and practices, ensuring no conflicts with shared resources such as the weight room and athletic trainers
- Assist with scheduling and execution of athletic facility rentals
- Assist with staff management and evaluations
- Act as liaison between athletics and academics
- Represent the Athletic Department at middle school faculty meetings and school-wide or conference-wide meetings as needed
- Stay current on policy changes
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Familiarity with NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletic Association) rules
- Familiarity with SPC (Southwest Preparatory Conference) rules
- Prior experience in athletic administration or coaching in a school setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Demonstrates resilience and flexibility in the face of interruptions
- Maintains emotional control under stress
- Promotes teamwork and positive interaction with fellow staff
- Maintains confidentiality of information
- Ability to work frequent, prolonged, and irregular hours
- Frequent district-wide and statewide travel required
- Outdoor exposure to sun and heat
