What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at Trinity Truck & Trailer Service?
Trinity Truck and Trailer is a family oriented business that provides our employees with many opportunities and an enjoyable work environment. We are looking for more welders/fabricators to join our silo division. We manufacture vertical milk storage silos up to 50k gallons. Listed below is a list of requirements and responsibilities for this position.
Welder/Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Welding/ Fabricating
- Mig/ Tig welding on various material (stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel) although in the silo division you will mainly be working with stainless
- Welding silo sections together to form the silo, welding rings on the silo, welding dimple cooling jackets on the silo, etc
- You may also be needed to help build and weld certain parts for our silos such as alcoves & bezels
Welder/Fabricator Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in welding
- Attention to detail (making sure welds are up to sanitary standard and polished once done)
- Good communication skills and being able to work with others around you
- Organizational skills (making sure you maintain a clean work area and clean up your messes at the end of your shift)
- Hardworking
- Good attendance (being able to show up for work everyday at the start of your shift and work the entirety of your shift)
