The role ensures machinery and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety standards.Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentCertification in welding techniques (AWS, ASME) preferredProven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment (food production experience highly preferred)Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards is a plusSkilled in operating welding tools and equipmentStrong attention to detail and precisionPhysically capable of standing for long periods and handling industrial materialsKey Responsibilities:Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication on production equipment, conveyors, stainless steel tanks, and other metal componentsEquipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiencyRepairs: Perform timely repairs on breakdowns to minimize production interruptionsPreventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespanSafety Compliance: Follow all welding safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain a clean, safe workspaceDocumentation: Maintain accurate logs of welding and maintenance work performedTroubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical or structural equipment issuesCollaboration: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to coordinate repairs and ensure smooth operationsMaterial Management: Track and maintain an inventory of welding tools and materialsContinuous Improvement: Recommend process or equipment improvements for greater efficiency and safetyPlease prioritize experienced welders with a manufacturing or food industry background and the ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM).
