About the Role
TransUnion is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their dynamic finance team in Chicago. The role involves supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and general ledger processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
Assist with forecasting and budgeting processes
Perform financial analysis to support business decisions
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
Work with GL and forecasting tools such as PeopleSoft and OneStream
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and audit teams
Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
✅ 2–4 years of direct accounting experience (mix of public accounting and industry a plus)
✅ Strong understanding of US GAAP
✅ Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
✅ Experience with GL and Forecasting tools (PeopleSoft, OneStream)
