What you’ll do at Clarke Public Accounting
Ultimately, this position is about more than simple accounting: We want to play a vital role in the success of our clients, providing guidance and advice that helps them make the right decisions for their business. During a typical work week, duties will include:
- Supervising/assisting our bookkeepers in preparation of financial statements with your monthly clients
- Handling new client installation and back-work
- Analyzing financial statements and communicating with clients
- Preparing tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals
- Preparing financial projections and budgets
- Preparing tax projections and conducting tax planning meetings with clients
- Business coaching and consulting
What you need to apply
- Current CPA license or Enrolled Agent
- 5 years of accounting experience & professional tax experience
- Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor
- Knowledge of UltraTax or similar tax preparation software (preferred)
- A bachelor’s degree

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills with clients and co-workers, in all manners including in person, virtually, over the phone and via email
- Be detail-oriented, but also be able to exercise good judgment and initiative, and handle situations internally and/or with clients with poise, understanding and tact
- Strong comfort level with technology and ability to learn new technology quickly

Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
