Requirements

The Rehab Tech will be employed to provide support services to licensed therapists.  The Rehab Tech will report directly to the Program Manager and Area Director.  Primary responsibilities include filing, copying, transportation of residents, maintenance of the treatment area, and physical assistance with patients as directed by the primary therapist.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Physically able to assist with patient transfers and lifts
  
• Capable of providing substantial support to individuals in ambulation therapy
  
• Able to use hands and arms for physical assistance to therapy and for filing and copying paperwork
  
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  
• Able to lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all assigned clerical tasks including but not limited to filing and copying
  
• Assist therapy staff with transfers of patients to the therapy room
  
• Report any resident problems to the Area Director or Program Manager
  
• Assist with outpatient billing information forms and scheduling
  
• Maintain treatment area in neat and orderly manner including but not limited to chemical cleaning of equipment, dirty linen management, and general departmental organization
  
• Attend any required training session
  
• Other duties as deemed necessary by the Area Director or Program Manager
