The Certified Occupational
Therapy Assistant performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the
Occupational Therapist. Participates in the rehabilitative plan of care
designed by the Occupational Therapist and physician, and monitored and evaluated
by the Occupational Therapist.

Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistants program with an Associate’s Degree approved by
the American Occupational Therapy Association. Licensed or certified by the
state in which the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant resides or
practices according to state requirements, and has received certification from
the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
