Facility Manager

Job Summary
The Facility Manager supports daily property and facilities operations by supervising staff and vendors, coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing construction and improvement projects, and ensuring properties are well maintained and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across assigned properties
• Supervise maintenance, janitorial, and grounds staff (internal and third-party)
• Serve as main point of contact for maintenance issues
• Conduct site inspections and manage vacant unit turnovers
• Coordinate work orders, vendors, purchase orders, and invoices
• Support property inspections and compliance requirements
• Assist with front desk operations, calls, and visitor coordination
• Ensure staff follow SOPs and safety/compliance standards
• Engagement in energy projects and capital projects on the property
• Lead coordination on multiple development projects occurring within the community

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or property management (required)
• Project Management or Construction skills (Preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities involving both operations and capital
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Bobcat license (preferred)

Work Environment

• Combination of office and field work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk properties
