Trinity Lutheran Preschool – Bogota, New Jersey
Trinity Lutheran Preschool is seeking a dependable, organized, and caring individual to join our team as a part-time Food Handler/Office Support Staff member.
Schedule and Compensation
- Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m.–2:15 p.m.
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Approximately 27.5 paid hours per week
- $21 per hour
- September through June
- School holidays off
- Paid sick time
- Anticipated start date: September 2, 2026
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive, lift, and carry lunch bags containing food
- Prepare, organize, and distribute meals and snacks
- Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and allergy-safety procedures
- Maintain clean and sanitary food-preparation and serving areas
- Complete required food-service records and paperwork
- Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory
- Support the school office with clerical and organizational tasks throughout the day
- Assist with filing, copying, preparing materials, answering phones, and other general office duties
- Work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, and other staff members
- Perform additional food-service or office-support duties as needed
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a busy preschool environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to safely lift and carry heavy lunch bags and food supplies
- Willing to obtain a FoodSafe Food Handler Certificate
- Trinity Lutheran Preschool will provide training and assist with the cost of obtaining the certificate.
