Duties
- Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
- Follow first aid protocols and be prepared to respond swiftly with CPR or AED operation in case of emergencies
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp programs, youth activities, or early childhood education settings is preferred
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and childhood development principles
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation required; ongoing training encouraged
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and team members positively
- Experience in teaching or tutoring young children is advantageous
