- JOB SUMMARY
The Release of Information Clerk is responsible for all aspects of releasing medical record information, including for personal use, payer and attorney requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education- High school education.
- Completion of medical terminology course.
- Experience in verification of valid release of information authorization.
- Experience in determination of medical necessity requirements by payors.
- Knowledge of current state and local laws governing release of information practices.
- Experience in processing subpoenas and court records.
- Previous chart analysis experience preferred.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of:
- Physical
- Background Check
- Must be physically able to perform all job duties as assigned.
