Shift: Day Shift (7am-5:30pm)
Per Diem Requirements: Requires 1 full weekend of call (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) per 6-week schedule, 3 weeknight shifts of call (Mon-Thurs) per 6-week schedule, and 1 holiday per year.
Location: Nazareth Hospital
Position Purpose
Responsible for assisting the Physician during procedures analyzes hemodynamics and EKG, removes sheaths, and uses sterile technique to set up laboratory.

Position Purpose

As an IR/Cath Lab Tech, you will
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness and sterility
- Scrub, circulate, or monitor cases in accordance with role assignment and department needs
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, X‑ray, hemodynamic monitoring systems) during procedures
- Prepare contrast media, catheters, wires, and interventional devices
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures and report changes promptly
- Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients, physicians, and staff
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Document procedural information accurately in the electronic health record
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and post‑procedure care and transport
- Clean, restock, and maintain procedural equipment and inventory
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations following department protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the procedural team
- Associates degree required.
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- ARRT and/or RCIS certification required.
- Previous IR/Cath Lab experience in hospital setting required.
