- Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure.
- Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures.
- As part of the procedural team, you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures.
- Provide nurse sedation during a procedure.
- Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit
- Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
- Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
- In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Current BLS
- RN experience in a health care setting.
- Experience in an acute health care setting preferred, Endoscopy or critical care
- Per Diem
- Minimum of 16 hours per month required.
