Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and caring CNA Supervisor to oversee and guide our team of Certified Nursing Assistants. As a CNA Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of care and ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of assistance. Your leadership will help create a supportive environment that fosters teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) , providing guidance, support and training
- Ensure CNAs follow care plans and deliver excellent resident care
- Oversee daily activities of the CNA team , including scheduling,delegation of tasks, staff training, and problem-solving
- Collaborate with nursing staff , administration, and other departments to ensure the best possible care for residents
- Conduct performance evaluations, mentor staff and promote ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in compliance with nursing home policies and state regulations
Experience
- Must be Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a license in good standing in WV. or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role desired, preferably in a long-term care or nursing home enviroment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to resident care
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced enviroment
