ICU Registered Nurse (RN) | Tulsa, OK

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients.
• Perform patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in condition.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Document patient care and utilize appropriate medical terminology.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and healthcare team members.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
• Coordinate discharge planning, referrals, and transitions of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, in-services, and unit education.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PCU, ICU, high-acuity, or critical-care experience required.
• ER/ED experience alone does not qualify.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of disease-state management and clinical pathways.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• ADN or ASN in Nursing required.
