What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Trinity Employment Specialists?
Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers and/or Pressure Vessels. This is a critical role requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to industry standards.
Pay Range: $25 – $32 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Primary Function: Conduct inspections and report findings to the Quality Inspection Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review radiographs
- Perform Penetrant and Magnetic Particle testing
- Certify Data Reports
- Coordinate code and customer inspections (including urgent night jobs)
- Report nonconformities and review code requirements
- Monitor welding and manufacturing processes
- Receive and inspect incoming materials
- Conduct final inspections prior to shipment
Tools & Equipment Used:
- Tape measure, micrometers (mechanical/digital), steel rule, T-gauge
- Mag particle (dry/wet), hardness testers (Telebrineller, Mic 10, Mic 20)
- Weld and Hi-Lo gauges, micro-finisher comparator, dial caliper
- Chemical analyzers (Sci Aps Z902, Niton XL3T)
- Dimensional scanner (Keyence WM600 3D Probe & Scanner)
- X-ray interpretation, dye penetrant testing
