Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift
Pay: $25-35/hr
Key Responsibilities QA Manager role:
- Inspect and ensure the quality of complicated oil field parts.
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Utilize and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain critical tooling, including micrometers, calipers, and tri-mics.
- Develop and manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Preventive Action Requests (PARs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as required.
- Create deviations and ensure all quality standards are met in accordance with inspection procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve goals.
- Be available to work on Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in checking complicated oil field parts is a must.
- Experience with programming and operating CMMs.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Proficiency in utilizing critical measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, and tri-mics.
- Previous experience with CARs, PARs, NCRs, and RMAs.
- Knowledge of FAI and PPAP processes is a plus; experience creating deviations is helpful.
- Self-sufficient with a strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
- 100% confidence in measuring parts, as your inspection procedure will be the standard.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

* Stop production if serious product defects are present.
* Review and update standard operating procedures or quality assurance manuals.
* Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
* Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections.

* Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
* Monitor development of new products to help identify possible problems for mass production.
* Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.
* Create and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures.
* Document testing procedures, methodologies, or criteria.
* Review statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.
* Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment, such as inspection gauges.
* Generate and maintain quality control operating budgets.
* Instruct vendors or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies.
* Confer with marketing and sales departments to define client requirements and expectations.
* Evaluate new testing and sampling methodologies or technologies to determine usefulness.
* Review and approve quality plans submitted by contractors.
* Audit and inspect subcontractor facilities including external laboratories.
