Electronic Soldering Assembler – Must-Have Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous soldering experience is required
- Ability to pass an FAA/DOT drug test
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Experience using hand tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to perform repetitive hand assembly work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Electronic Soldering Assembler – Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Soldering Assembler to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team in Jenks, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for assembling aerospace components using soldering equipment, epoxy applicators, presses, and various hand tools while following detailed assembly instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and comfortable working with small components in a precision manufacturing environment.
Electronic Soldering Assembler – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble aerospace components according to work instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications
- Perform electronic soldering and epoxy adhesion processes
- Operate solder stations, mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, and hand tools
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Document component and material traceability on manufacturing orders
- Inspect assembled products for quality and accuracy
- Identify and report assembly or documentation issues to production leadership
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support production goals and deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Electronic Soldering Assembler – Additional Qualifications
- Manufacturing, electronics assembly, or aerospace assembly experience preferred
- IPC soldering certification is a plus but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small components
- Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and technical documents
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Electronic Soldering Assembler – Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for detailed assembly work
- Ability to handle small parts and precision tools
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
