3G Vessel Welder (Direct Hire – Pressure Vessel Fabrication)
Pay: $26–$29/hour minimum
Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time

Location: Tulsa, OK
3G Vessel Welder – Must-Have Requirements
- Must be able to pass an open root 3G MIG/Flux Core fill and cap weld test
- Minimum 2 years welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
- Strong understanding of volts, amps, and welding machine adjustments
- Ability to pass weld inspection and detect defects
- Intermediate math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic safety training knowledge and commitment to safety compliance
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
3G Vessel Welder – Position Summary
- Set up and operate advanced welding equipment for pressure vessel fabrication
- Perform high-quality welds that meet strict production and safety standards
- Repair defective welds and reduce scrap, rework, and downtime
- Ensure all work meets specification and quality expectations in a production environment
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency in welding processes
3G Vessel Welder – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan welding procedures and work steps for assigned jobs
- Set up, operate, and adjust welding machines as needed
- Perform 3G open root MIG/Flux Core welding with fill and cap passes
- Inspect finished welds for quality, completeness, and compliance
- Troubleshoot welding equipment and make necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain production output and meet expected job standards
- Clock into production jobs and track work accurately
- Communicate with supervisors and other departments as needed
- Participate in process improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
3G Vessel Welder – Additional Qualifications
- Experience in pressure vessel or heavy fabrication welding preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in high-quality, code-driven welding environments (ASME a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
