What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at Trinity Electrical Services?
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, construction,
infrastructure, engineering, public-sector contracting, or a related field.
• Familiarity with public bidding, RFQs/RFPs, procurement processes, capital improvement programs,
and government-funded or owner-funded infrastructure projects preferred.
• Experience working with or selling to engineering firms, general contractors, municipalities, DOT
agencies, airport authorities, port authorities.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
• Proven ability to develop new relationships and convert them into qualified opportunities.
• Comfortable using CRM systems to manage leads, qualified leads, opportunities, contacts, activities,
and sales forecasts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business communication tools.
• Willingness to travel regularly within assigned geographies for customer meetings, industry events,
pre-bid meetings, site visits, and market development activity.
