Trinity Consultants is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead complex air quality projects while mentoring high-performing teams and driving client success. What You’ll Do
Project & Technical Leadership
- Lead and manage air quality permitting and compliance projects for industrial clients
- Prepare and review:
- Air permit applications & regulatory analyses
- Emissions inventories and fee calculations
- Dispersion modeling analyses
- Evaluate regulatory risk and recommend control technologies and compliance strategies
- Conduct compliance audits and provide strategic environmental guidance
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor a team of consultants and technical staff
- Provide clear direction, technical oversight, and career development support
- Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped to deliver high-quality work
- Conduct performance reviews and set measurable development goals
Project Execution & Operations
- Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and financial performance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standards
- Perform QA/QC in alignment with ISO 9001 standards
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects and priorities
Client & Business Development
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining and expanding relationships
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new business development
- Lead proposal development and support strategic pursuits
- Represent Trinity through strong written and verbal communication
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related environmental science field
- 4 years of experience in air quality consulting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of:
- Air quality regulations and permitting
- Emissions calculations and control technologies
- Air dispersion modeling
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and client relationships
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or managing teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical tools
