Job Description
The Management of Change (MOC) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the site’s MOC program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. This role is responsible for monitoring the MOC workflow through the sites MOC Software, engaging stakeholders to maintain momentum on MOC activities, and providing visibility into the MOC program performance through tracking and reporting of key metrics.
- Maintain an active log of all open MOC actions, identifying bottlenecks and facilitating timely completion of tasks.
- Engage action owners, approvers, and project managers to follow up on outstanding items and resolve delays.
- Escalate overdue MOCs or systemic issues to management when needed.
- Develop, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that reflect the health and performance of the MOC program
- Provide guidance and assistance to MOC initiators, reviewers, and approvers on system use and procedural expectations.
- Participate in audits and assist in gathering MOC documentation and evidence when required.
- Recommend process or system enhancements based on KPI trends and user feedback.
- Ensure MOC activities align with OSHA PSM requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- One to three years’ experience in a petrochemical plant or refinery
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data tracking is preferred
- Experience in Process Safety Management (PSM), Engineering, EHS, or related operations is preferred.
Location
The position will be full-time, on-site in a refinery setting, located in El Dorado, Kansas.
