Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly collaborative Content Marketing Manager to join our corporate marketing team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who also enjoys hands-on execution - someone who understands how content supports marketing across the organization, the full buyer journey and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to publish, optimize, and repurpose content across channels.
The Content Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing our content strategy, working closely with corporate marketing, field/regional marketing, and distributed consultants. This position requires strong communication skills, confidence engaging with subject matter experts, and the ability to translate technical and consulting-driven content into clear, compelling marketing assets.
This role will begin with a strong tactical focus (publishing content, managing assets, supporting campaigns), with the expectation that the individual will increasingly influence content planning, prioritization, and optimization over time.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop a deep understanding of existing content, how it aligns across the divisions and supports each stage of the buyer journey, and where and how it is used across channels.
- Partner with the Head of Content and Marketing Directors to support content strategy development and execution.
- Conduct regular content audits to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and inform content roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to fill content gaps across industries, services, geographies, and buyer stages.
- Gather content ideas from consultants and field marketing teams to develop into actionable content initiatives.
Content Development & Repurposing
- Review, edit, and optimize draft content from consultants and internal teams, including eNews articles, blogs, thought leadership pieces, case studies, and website copy.
- Repurpose existing assets (articles, case studies, videos, service sheets, presentations, bios) into multiple formats, including:
- Blogs and web pages
- FAQs and short-form website content
- Divisional pages and supporting content
- Social posts and campaign assets
- Short-form videos and video scripts
- Proactively suggest and execute content repurposing opportunities to extend the life and reach of existing content.
Publishing & Content Operations
- Publish and update content on the company website and blog using the CMS (WordPress).
- Assist with the development and coordination of video content, including working with internal teams and external partners.
- Organize and maintain content libraries, including image libraries and shared assets, in coordination with Creative team and Marketing Directors.
- Ensure content assets are properly tagged and organized by industry, service area, geography, and project type.
- Create and maintain a repository of reusable quotes, value propositions, and excerpts from case studies and articles.
Campaign & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with corporate marketing and field marketing teams to align content with campaign goals and lead generation initiatives.
- Support email marketing and newsletters by helping develop, edit, and publish client-facing content.
- Assist with website landing page development and ongoing optimization.
- Support internal communications and intranet content by uploading and maintaining internal resources.
- Learn and support marketing automation efforts (e.g., Marketo), including lead nurture content and workflows.
Communication & Initiative
- Take initiative to reach out to stakeholders to discuss new content ideas, projects, and improvements.
- Build strong working relationships with consultants, marketers, and leadership by communicating clearly and confidently.
- Act as a trusted content partner who can balance feedback, deadlines, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, communications or digital marketing (B2B preferred). Understanding of SEO strategy is ideal.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing content strategies in a complex or matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of content audits, content lifecycle management, and content roadmapping.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content repurposing skills, with the ability to work with technical or consulting-driven material.
- Experience collaborating with large corporate marketing teams and field/regional marketing teams.
- Comfortable engaging directly with subject matter experts and consultants to shape and refine content.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems (WordPress or similar).
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Experience in B2B, professional services, consulting, or technical services industries strongly preferred.
