We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our school's IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure and efficient technological environment that supports the mission of TCA.

General Responsibilities
- Work on a team to provide system design and support for more than 2,000 PC and Apple desktops, laptops, tablets, and iPads running Windows, Mac OS and iOS
- Manage all help desk tickets and ensure adequate levels of support are being provided in a timely matter
- Manage and support the network infrastructure, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, PA, clocks, bells, printers, copiers, and phone systems
- Administer, maintain, and support servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, internet filtering, Intune, Jamf and other essential software applications
- Ensure the security of the IT environment by implementing and maintaining appropriate cybersecurity measures, including firewalls and antivirus software
- Be an integral member of the IT Security Committee and manage the regularly scheduled cybersecurity risk assessments
- Provide technical support for all network and stand-alone printers/plotters, Promethean interactive displays, projectors, and audio-visual equipment across campus
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and operation manuals
- Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures that support the school's mission
- Manage all technology vendors’ projects and tasks to ensure completion dates are met
- Collaborate with the Educational Technology Specialists to plan and implement technology projects that enhance educational delivery and administrative efficiency
- Stay current with technological trends and advancements to ensure the school leverages the best tools and practices
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
- Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) in daily work, and interactions with colleagues and others
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Experience working in an educational environment
- Knowledge of educational technology tools and platforms
- Fully in line with TCA's Christian values and Biblical Statements and Policies
- Have a willing heart for service (Ephesians 6:7)
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or a related role
- Proficiency in managing Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Experience with network administration, including configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of the issue until completion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Team player
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
