Position Overview:
The Executive Managing Director, Transformation is responsible for designing and executing enterprise-wide transformation strategies that integrate financial management, operations management, technology, and program leadership. The role also leads post-merger integration and value realization for M&A transactions, ensuring seamless alignment of acquired entities with the organization’s operating model. This position ensures the development of robust management information systems to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the commercial loan servicing platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Enterprise Leadership
- Develop and drive the transformation agenda in alignment with organizational strategy and market trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across finance, operations, and technology.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on transformation priorities, risks, and opportunities.
Financial Management
- Oversee performance measurement for transformation initiatives.
- Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and realization of targeted ROI.
- Partner with Finance to develop business cases and track financial impact of change programs.
Operations Management
- Analyze and optimize end-to-end loan servicing and asset management processes.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive standardization and scalability across business units.
Enterprise Change & Program Leadership
- Design and execute large-scale change programs, ensuring stakeholder engagement and adoption.
- Establish program governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Group Management Information Development
- Oversee the development and enhancement of management information systems (MIS) to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility for performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with business units to define and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
M&A Post-Deal Integration and Value Realization
- Lead post-merger integration activities, including operational, financial, and technological alignment of acquired entities.
- Develop and execute integration plans to ensure seamless transition, cultural alignment, and retention of key talent.
- Monitor and report on synergy realization, cost savings, and value creation post-acquisition.
- Identify and mitigate integration risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during the integration process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- 15 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial loan servicing, financial services, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, operations, program leadership, and post-merger integration.
- Proven track record in leading enterprise transformation and development.
