Trimmers Landscaping , based in Londonderry NH, is looking for a full-time, year-round dispatch/service coordinator.
About Us We are a well-established, 30-person landscaping company proudly serving residential and commercial clients across south central New Hampshire. Our team manages a full range of services including summer lawn maintenance & landscaping, seasonal snow plowing & ice management, and landscape construction projects (patios, retaining walls, plantings, and more). Position Overview We are seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Dispatcher / Service Coordinator to join our operations team. In this key role, you will be the central hub that keeps our crews, equipment, and projects moving smoothly across all three of our main service lines: summer maintenance, snow services, and construction.
You will manage daily scheduling, coordinate resources with department management, communicate clearly with field crews and clients, and help ensure we deliver on our commitments even during our busiest seasons.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain efficient daily/weekly schedules for crews and equipment across:
o Weekly mowing and landscape maintenance
o Snow plowing, salting, and storm response
o Construction projects both hardscape and softscape
o Irrigation system installation and repair
- Assign personnel and crews to jobs based on skills, availability, location, and job requirements. Schedule equipment to jobs at the direction of management
- Monitor real-time field progress, adjust schedules as needed (weather delays, emergencies, client changes), and communicate updates promptly
- Manage incoming client calls, service requests, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Coordinate with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates, and address questions or concerns
- Track job progress and collaborate with crews to enter data accurately into our scheduling/job management software
- Help prepare route plans and job packets for crews
- Assist with pre-storm preparation as in, crew callouts, & route prioritization. Snow service dispatch will require some late nights and possible weekend work
- Work closely with owners, production managers, and field supervisors to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, work orders, and client communications
- Stay calm and decisive during fast-paced snow events and peak seasons
- Willing to “own” the position and the duties that it entails
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, service coordination, scheduling, or operations support (landscaping, construction, HVAC, property services, or similar field preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone and written communication skills — clear, professional, and friendly
- Comfortable working with scheduling software (training provided if needed)
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, job management systems)
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during high-pressure situations (busy summer weeks or major snow events)
- Knowledge of south-central New Hampshire geography is a big plus
- Experience with snow operations or landscape construction scheduling is highly valued
- Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions
- Clear, confident communicator (phone, radio, text, and in-person)
- Proficient with computers, scheduling software, and spreadsheets
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
