Location: Boise, Idaho (On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Opportunity


TriMerge Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Administrative & Technical Support Specialist to support a federal government client in Boise, Idaho. This position provides administrative, records management, customer service, financial processing, and technical support in a professional office environment.


The successful candidate will work directly at the client site while serving as a TriMerge employee supporting federal operations.


Primary Responsibilities


The selected individual will:


Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in visitors, telephone callers, and email inquiries.

Process applications, forms, and requests while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.


Maintain and update electronic databases, records management systems, SharePoint sites, and spreadsheets.


Assist with land, mineral, and case record documentation and records maintenance.

Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.

Gather, organize, and summarize data for management reports.

Maintain workload tracking logs and administrative records.

Process incoming and outgoing mail, including overnight deliveries and electronic correspondence.

Process monetary transactions including cash, checks, and credit card payments while maintaining accountability.

Assist internal and external customers with document processing and information requests.

Coordinate projects and administrative activities while monitoring deadlines and work priorities.

Participate in quarterly reporting and provide written status updates.

Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive government information.


Minimum Qualifications


Associate's degree or higher preferred (or equivalent professional experience).

Three or more years of administrative support experience.

Experience supporting federal, state, or local government agencies is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience using SharePoint or other document management systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

Records management

Financial or accounting support

Cash handling and reconciliation

Database management

Government correspondence

Administrative reporting

Public-facing customer service

Land records or document management systems


Security Requirements


Applicants must be able to successfully:

Pass a federal background investigation.

Obtain and maintain Department of the Interior credentials and access authorization.

Meet all federal suitability requirements for access to government facilities and systems.


Physical Requirements


Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to approximately 60 pounds when necessary.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform routine office activities throughout the workday.


Work Schedule


Monday through Friday

Approximately 40 hours per week

On-site in Boise, Idaho

Federal holidays observed
