- Has 2 years of test engineering or QA experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Has 2 years of experience in in implementing test engineering principles
- Practitioner of Agile and/or Lean practices
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Computer Science or
- Full SDLC and Agile development methodologies experience
- Operates and maintains intelligent test automation frameworks that certifies releases faster with increased test coverage
- Identifies and builds the appropriate level of test cases to determine if product is ready for production
- Participates in research to identify tools, automation frameworks and methodologies; drives quality measures to be implemented
- Recommends changes in the development process to ensure quality is built into the product
- Adopts fail fast methodology
- Recommends solutions based on established best practices
- Uses logic and analytical thinking to solves problems
- Work is more variable at this level; as such must consider multiple options to solve problems
- Makes tactical decisions that are driven by the priorities of the project and that fall within defined procedures
- Issues not defined by best practices are escalated to Manager
- Nearly self-sufficient and capable of working with limited supervision
- Communicates with Management on status issues and decisions
- Facilitates discussions for the product with the product team
- Provides support to less experienced team members
- Creates and delivers presentations and communication to peers
