SOLIDWORKS & PDM Documentation SpecialistLocation: Long Island, NY (Onsite)Employment Type: Direct HireCompensation: $70,000–$75,000 DOEOur client is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven SOLIDWORKS & PDM Documentation Specialist to manage and maintain all engineering product documentation, including drawings, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs). This role requires hands-on expertise with SOLIDWORKS PDM and a strong commitment to accuracy, consistency, and efficiency throughout all documentation workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate CAD models for components and assemblies using SOLIDWORKS to support the Engineering team.Develop, revise, and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, ECNs, and BOMs.Ensure documentation complies with company standards and ISO/ASME practices.Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to gather, review, and update technical documentation based on project and design requirements.Administer and maintain the SOLIDWORKS PDM system, ensuring data integrity, smooth operation, and timely troubleshooting.Train and guide team members on documentation standards, PDM usage, and best practices.Conduct routine documentation audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.Communicate documentation changes and engineering updates to relevant stakeholders.Prepare documentation-related reports for management review.RequirementsAssociate degree or technical discipline required.Minimum 3 years of experience in product design, engineering documentation, or related fields.Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS PDM.Strong understanding of Engineering Change Control processes.Familiarity with ISO/ASME documentation standards preferred.Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and computer skills.Company DescriptionTriMech Services specializes in the placement of qualified technical candidates for both temporary and direct hire opportunities.
