CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS MANAGER – Key leadership role!

Selected candidate must have a stable job record, experience in a job cost environment (construction, manufacturing, engineering, mining, architecture, aerospace, defense etc.), significant collections experience, and familiarity with mechanic liens/verified statement of claims.
This is a key leadership role responsible for leading all aspects of credit and collections to support the companies’ financial strength and cash flow. This role partners closely with sales, operations and customers to manage risk, maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS MANAGER
- Credit and Risk Management - Establishes and maintains credit policies, procedures and standards across the organization.
- Accounts Receivable and Collections - Leads collection efforts to ensure timely accurate receipt of payments
- Team Leadership and Development - Leads, coaches and develops credit and collections team members.
- Cross-Functional Partnership - Partners with sales, dispatch and operations and align on customer accounts and project needs.
- Legal and Compliance - Ensures timely and accurate filings of liens, bond claims and releases.
- Process Improvement and Reporting - Develops and improves credit and collections processes for efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS MANAGER
- Degree in accounting, finance or business preferred or experience in lieu of education.
- 5 years of progressive credit and collections experience (including accounts receivable).
- 2 years of leadership experience managing teams.
- Stable job record.
- Construction, materials or related job cost industry experience.
- Familiarity with mechanic liens/verified statement of claims
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Team player.
Target salary range: $110,000 – $135,000 DOE. Discretionary bonus potential. Benefits include 401k and PTO, medical, dental, vision, and much more!
