This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. What You Will Be Doing
- Guide students through our 2-Hour Learning block, helping them set ambitious goals, maintain focus, and leverage our AI-powered platforms for maximum growth.
- Reinforce reading skills introduced by our Reading Specialists, creating consistent practice routines that accelerate literacy development.
- Coach emotional regulation, resilience, and peer collaboration with the perfect balance of structure and warmth.
- Track student progress meticulously, identify potential issues early, and collaborate with your team to adjust strategies for optimal results.
- Craft a classroom culture that combines structure with joy—creating an environment that feels like summer camp with Ivy League expectations.
- Standing at a whiteboard delivering one-size-fits-all lessons to passive students.
- Designing literacy curriculum or serving as the primary reading instructor.
- Drowning in paperwork, grading, or extensive lesson planning.
- Working in an outdated classroom environment devoid of cutting-edge technology or authentic joy.
- Implementing rigid behavior management systems that ignore the unique needs of each child.

Basic Requirements
- Must be available for full-time, in-person work at one of our campus locations: Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Orange County, CA; or San Francisco, CA.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience working with children ages 4–8 in education, afterschool programs, coaching, or similar developmental environments.
- Proven ability to motivate and manage groups of young children with both clear structure and authentic joy.
- Demonstrated growth mindset and receptiveness to feedback.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Training or certifications in progressive early childhood learning models (e.g., CDA, Montessori, Reggio Emilia).
- Experience supporting reading instruction or collaborating with literacy specialists.
- Familiarity with adaptive learning software or personalized education technology tools.
