This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. - Conducting adaptive reading workshops to build essential skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency
- Crafting personalized motivational sessions using gamified literacy milestones to enhance engagement
- Analyzing student progress data to refine instruction and draw actionable insights
- Partnering with the tech team to assess and improve AI literacy tools based on classroom outcomes
- Creating scalable content that personalizes learning pathways for diverse student needs
- Adhering to a rigid, scripted curriculum that disregards student needs or data
- Spending excessive time on traditional lesson planning, grading, or administrative tasks
- Working in overcrowded classrooms with inadequate resources
- Managing behavior all day instead of focusing on reading instruction
- Teaching in isolation without influencing program or product development

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Expertise in assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula
- Proficiency with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsiveness to student behaviors within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Orange County, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; or Washington, D.C. (Chantilly).
