Job Title: Front Desk Medical Assistant

Reports to: Director of Operations, COO

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive overall experience.

Appointment Scheduling: Manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal use of resources.

Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing patient records.

Verification and Documentation: Verify patient information and relevant documentation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the medical spa's services and products to effectively communicate with patients and address their inquiries.

Collaboration: Work closely with medical staff and other team members to facilitate smooth operations and provide excellent patient care.

Requirements:

Medical Assistant Certification: Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program and certification.

Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Tech-Savvy: Proficient in basic computer skills, including experience with appointment scheduling software and electronic medical records.

Professional Appearance: Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

Mobility: The ability to move freely and navigate the medical spa facility, including standing and walking for extended periods.

Manual Dexterity: Proficient use of hands and fingers for tasks such as typing, writing, handling paperwork, and operating office equipment.

Lifting: Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, including office supplies and occasionally assisting with the movement of medical equipment.

Vision: Clear and corrected vision to perform tasks such as reading documents, computer screens, and accurately verifying patient information.

Hearing: Adequate hearing to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and over the phone.

Sitting: Extended periods of sitting may be required when performing administrative tasks at the front desk.

Repetitive Motions: Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as keyboarding and using a mouse, without experiencing discomfort or fatigue.

Fine Motor Skills: Precise coordination of fine motor skills for tasks like handling small objects, paperwork, and using office equipment.

Stamina: The capacity to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment, including managing multiple tasks and interacting with patients throughout the day.
