Trillium is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Pittsburgh!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a current Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) with experience in HVAC system design.
This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week at home.
Salary ranges are:
• EIT: $120,000 - $140,000 annually depending on experience
• PE: $140,000 - $160,000 annually depending on experience
The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs for a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on projects from concept through completion while partnering with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
• Design heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for a variety of projects
• Perform cooling and heating load calculations using industry-standard software
• Size and select HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, AHUs, fans, pumps, ductwork, and piping systems
• Prepare, review, and edit project specifications and technical documentation
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and construction documents
• Utilize engineering design software and drafting platforms to support project development
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, and contractors throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications:
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Professional experience with mechanical engineering
• Experience in HVAC design
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
