Trillium Professional is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a full time opportunity with our high volume manufacturing client located in Burlington, WA!
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance activities at the plant. This role involves implementing preventative maintenance plans, ensuring efficient communication between maintenance and operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement new equipment PMs and maintain spare parts lists in CMMS.
- Estimate labor hours, tools, and resources for work orders.
- Prepare standardized preventative maintenance plans and schedules.
- Act as liaison between maintenance and operations teams.
- Coordinate planned downtimes to minimize production interference.
- Consolidate spare parts inventory and assist with CMMS updates.
- Provide training and administration for CMMS across sites.
- Generate monthly maintenance KPI reports.
- Champion preventative maintenance initiatives and ensure compliance with controlled document processes.
Qualifications:
- Technical Certificate/PM Certification/Engineering Certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years as a technician or CRMP-certified professional.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance planning experience in high-volume manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Must-haves:
- 5 years of maintenance planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- We do not want Facilities or Property maintenance planning experience.
- Strong background in preventive and reliability-based maintenance.
- Hands-on CMMS experience in manufacturing (system ownership, not just usage).
- CMMS used as a reliability and asset management tool, not just work tickets.
- Proven ability to:
- Scope work orders
- Estimate labor, tools, and resources
- Plan and schedule PMs around production
- Experience coordinating planned vs. unplanned downtime.
- Familiarity with production-critical equipment.
- Understanding of:
- MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
- PM Compliance
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Experience supporting Just-In-Time manufacturing.
- Self-directed “go-getter” who drives their own initiatives.
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker (not a rigid or overly siloed planner).
